Instituto C&A donates over 10,000 fabric masks and over 5,000 face shields through Rede Asta

The Instituto C&A, the social arm of C&A Brazil, is a long-standing partner of Rede Asta and approached us with two initiatives to implement during this period of social isolation to protect people.

Coronavirus protection initiative #1:

One of them is to coordinate C&A suppliers for the production of 100,000 fabric masks, which will be distributed to social organizations working to support people in situations of social vulnerability.

Coronavirus protection initiative #2:⠀

The other is the donation of funds that enabled the production of 5,764 face shields, which were donated to public hospitals to protect healthcare professionals in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo at the hospitals most in need of this equipment.
